NORTHERN LIFT GIRLS U13 HARDBALL TROPHY

The L&DCC Girls U13 Hardball League, the latest competition to be added to the League's female cricket structure, has been won by Northern in its inaugural year.

The growing number of girls sections at Comp clubs, partly as a result of the provision of girls softball festivals run by the League over last 3 season, has allowed the formation of our youngest age group hardball competition. 7 teams competed across the season from Bootle, Irby, Liverpool, Rainhill, Sefton Park, and Wavertree as well as Northern, and the competition proved successful. The winners held a 100% record over the season with 6 wins out of 6.

The trophy and medals were presented to the team by international umpire, Jasmine Naeem who was present as part of the League's W&G Finals Day, hosted by Northern. Jasmine is pictured far left with the team along with Tracy Bate, L&DCC, W&G Sub Committee Secretary (far right).
