A request from a touring side who have been let down

I’m Paul Cudby from Holmes Chapel Cricket Club. Every year we organise a tour, and we were planning on coming to Southport in a few weeks (as a base, happy to travel in day if needed)

For lots of different reasons, our original plans have changed, which means we’re trying to find a couple of grounds, and teams of any quality, that could host us for afternoon games (30/40 overs?) on Wednesday and Thursday (21st and 22nd August).

We’re quite willing and able to pay our way and make a contribution to the club. In an ideal world we might have umpires and teas, but at this stage we’d settle for a decent game of cricket. And a staffed bar… :)
