Success for Northern in Mike DUNN Trophy Finals Day (3rd XIs)

Liverpool Superkings Ormskirk Northern and Sefton Park

Congratulations to Josh Howe and his Northern side who saw off hosts Sefton Park to claim the inaugural Mike Dunn Trophy (formerly the Embee Cup) twenty over competition for 3rd XIs.

Northern's total of 138 for 5 (led by player of the match Seb Rice's excellent 61 with Callum Snaylam's supporting 32) proved too much for Sefton Park who were dismissed for 75 as Henry Sinker claimed 4 for 11 and Seb also chipped in with 3 for 23.

In the semi finals Northern had beaten Ormskirk by 39 runs (Callum Snaylam top scoring with 53) and Sefton Park chased down Liverpool Superkings total of 99 to win by 6 wickets (Singh and Rushton both 33).
