BIRKENHEAD PARK RETURN TO COMPETITION CRICKET

Former LDCC champions Birkenhead Park CC who were established in 1846 will play in the Second Division in 2012 following an SGM on 28th July.
The club elected to join the Cheshire County League for the 1998 season by an almost unanimous decision at that time and were ultimately relegated to the Cheshire Cricket League at the end of season 2010.
The further vacancy in the Second Division will be taken by the winner of the play off between the two top clubs of the Merseyside Competition and the Southport & District Amateur League in accordance with the League Regulations.
