Please see the following invitation to enter the Girl's U13 Thunder Cup 2018 (teams of 6). Precedes the Lancashire Thunder Women's KIA Super League fixture Vs Southern Vipers. Entry includes a ticket for this match for the girls and up to 2 coaches.

Winners and Runners up will form a guard of honour for the players.

England World Cup winning players on show as well as many more international players including New Zealand's Amelia Kerr (Southern Vipers) who recently set new One Day International record score of 232 at just 17, and India's Harmanpreet Kaur, Lancashire Thunder's new signing. Kaur has made 170 appearances for India in all three formats of the game and shot to fame in 2017 when she hit a match winning 171 not out against Australia in the semi-final of the ICC Women’s World Cup at Derby.

Hello,

Last year we delivered the first ever Thunder Cup at Blackpool Cricket Club; a girls U/13's competition held before a Lancashire Thunder game. Leyland Girls were the winners of the 2017. It was a hugely enjoyable event played in a fun but competitive environment and it was great to see so many stay to watch the Kia Super League match afterwards.

This year the Thunder Cup 2018 will be held at Liverpool Cricket Club on Sunday 29th July (10am - 12.30pm) before Lancashire Thunder take on Southern Vipers in the Kia Super League (2.30pm).

The event is a 6-a-side Girls U/13' Kwik Cricket competition. The price to enter a team is £30 and this gives all participants and 2 coaches a free ticket to watch stay and watch Lancashire Thunder. Parents are welcome to watch, however, will be required to purchase a ticket after the girls event finishes should they wish to stay for the KSL game. Several of the Lancashire Thunder players will meet the participants and the winners and runners up will be invited to be the Guard of Honour for the KSL match.
