McKiernan leads his men to victory
A Liverpool Competition U21 side beat the Isle Of Man by seven wickets today (Friday) in a t20 at Southport and Birkdale CC. The game was part of a trio of matches on the mainland designed to prepare the Manxmen for their forthcoming ICC campaign, The IOM made 125 for 4 batting first with their total being passed in the 16th over.
Isle of Man 125 for 4 ( 20 overs) W. Wessels 39.
L&DCC u21 129 for 3 (15.5 overs) Matt.McKiernan 61no; Sam Lucas 27.
