Sefton CC win LCB Indoor 6-a-side competition

The annual LCB Indoor 6 a side tournament was again a hit with Sefton CC emerging victorious

The competition took place at the Indoor Cricket Centre here at Old Trafford between Heaton CC, Kearsley CC and Sefton CC. The first match commensed between Heaton CC and Kearsley CC with Heaton coming through as winners, knocking the reigning champions out of the competition. The final between Heaton CC and Sefton CC was a close game with Heaton scoring 82 runs and Sefton knocking the runs off in the 10th over.

Sefton CC are now off to Durham on the 5th February 2012 to play Blaydon CC in the County play off’s at the Emirates Stadium, Indoor School, Durham.

We wish them luck and hope to see Sefton CC in the Regional Finals at Derby in March.
