In a change to previous years, at least one MCUA umpire should be appointed where available. (and if only one is present to officiate at both ends). Please contact Kevin Wilson (willonotout@gmail.com)who will appoint umpire(s). If 2 are available the cost will be £30 each (£35 on a Sunday). If only one is available then both clubs will pay £20 each and the MCUA umpire will stand at both ends.
If there are any issues in arranging dates then please contact Jeremy Clein.
The responsibility is on the home side to contact the away side. If the home side do not make contact in sufficient time then it is possible that the game will be conceded
Chester/Tittersall Cups and Leddy Cup
These games have play on dates – if there are any issues with the play on date then Jeremy Clein must be contacted asap – if a home ground is not available then the preferred option is to play the game away to ensure the play on date is met.
Clubs should ensure they have an appointed club umpire rather than using players. If any MCUA umpires are available then Kevin Wilson will be happy to appoint
The organiser’s decision on all matters will be final
