JUNIOR LEAGUE UPDATE

Planning and preparations underway

We are pleased to give an update on the preparations for Junior Cricket in 2021, which are obviously subject to the overall situation in the country.

Phill O’Brien, confirmed as Chairman of the Liverpool Competition Junior League at the AGM in January, has written to all notified age group representatives of all participating Junior Clubs in 2020 with a questionnaire. Clubs are asked to indicate the number of teams and the age groups that they wish to take part this year as well having the opportunity to comment on the arrangements in 2020 and any ideas for 2021, by 22 February.

This will be followed up with a meeting on ZOOM for all interested parties on Tuesday 2 March at 7.30pm.

Together with other Leagues in the County we have fully signed up to the Lancashire Cricket Foundation’s revised arrangements for Inter-League Cricket and we will share all available information with Junior Representatives at the meeting.
