After a far more enjoyable summer of cricket than seemed possible in March, Rainford Cricket Club is looking forward to and preparing for 2021. In doing so we thank our main sponsor JUST ACCOUNTS for their continued support.

Subject to confirmation at the AGM, John Dotters will once again skipper the 1^st X1 with Mark Brook leading the 2s. The last few years have seen a fairly settled side at the Jubilee Recreation Ground and 2021 will be no different. The club has a bank of promising U16/17 youngsters now all with a couple of years 2^nd X1 experience and circumstances permitting, this season should see their introduction to 1^st team cricket.

Having lined up 19 year old South African Jason Login as our overseas player for 2020 we have confirmed the young batsman for 2021. A product of St Charles College, Jason, also a useful spin bowler, plays for Maritzburg and has represented Kwa-Zulu Natal Inland U19s.

Like everyone else our income has drastically reduced. The lack of an Annual Dinner, Golf Day, Presidents day, Picnic in the Park and a shortened season, has led to the need to raise funds to take us into next season. We present: Our CHRISTMAS RAFFLE with over 25 Prizes.
