On Monday 29th May Lancashire Under 17s entertained a spirited Durham team at Liverpool CC. Rain scuppered the start of play, but play got underway with a match reduced to 36 overs. Having been put into bat, Lancashire posted 220-3, with Jamie Crawley making 116 not out. In reply, Durham were bowled out for 153. Jake Hill bowling 3-19, Ahmad 2-29, Matt Wilkes 2-30. The team were superbly led by George Lavelle, who, in addition to his 56 runs, executed two superb leg side stumpings.
