JOHN LONSDALE 1950 -2016 - Funeral Arrangements

Captain at Sefton Park CC 1984-1988 passes away.
John was born in Bolton and joined Sefton Park CC in 1973, he had played previously for Horwich RMI in the Bolton League 1964-1972.
He captained Sefton at a very dificult time for the club just after a disastrous fire had devastated the Club's pavilion with the result that that all Club facilities were run from three portakabins in the car park.
John was a P.E. teacher and he taught at St Mary's College Wallasey.
The Funeral is on Wednesday 2 November at Springwood Crematorium and afterwards at Sefton Park CC.
