Message to Clubs re Umpires.

Week 3 Fixtures with allocated umpires. From which you will see the full impact of what the MCUA and the Comp Committee have been saying to our 36 full member clubs for a number of years. Sadly the numbers of umpires is decreasing, through illlness and other reasons, at a rate significantly higher than new umpires joining. Clubs have a responsibility to encourage their members and players to give it a try. The picture is clear if clubs ignore the message.
