COMP TRIO OF GIRLS READY FOR KIA SUPER LEAGUE

The 2018 Kia Super League gets under way this week and Lancashire Thunder will be hoping to roar in their opening game at Southport and Birkdale this Sunday (22 July) against Loughborough Lightning ( 2.30 start).
This year’s Thunder features three of our very own Liverpool Competition Girls, all of whom started playing the game of cricket before they were 10; all of whom played District Cricket for their local Development Groups at U11, U13 and U15 and all of whom, after playing County Girls Age Groups, made their Senior Women’s debuts before the age of 15. All now play League cricket in the Comp for their clubs.
We wish all the very best of luck and a successful campaign to Rachel Dickinson, currently with Burscough CC after starting off with Ormskirk; Natalie Brown from Sutton CC and Ellie Threlkeld from Rainford CC.
You can see the girls in action and support them and the Thunder at Southport and Birkdale this Sunday or at Liverpool CC next Sunday (29th) v Southern Vipers (2.30 start)
