Northern Cricket Club have announced two new signings for the 2018 season, both established Lancashire Age Group players.

Tom Billington a left hand top order bat, arrives at Moor Park from Horwich Cricket Club from where he broke into the Lancashire County Pathway at age 11 and is currently a member of the U19 squad.

Chris Brownlow moves from Southport and Birkdale where he has played for the past three years after also beginning his cricket career at Horwich and also stepping on to the County Pathway at U11. The right hand bat and medium quick bowler scored 648 runs and took 28 wickets in the 2017 season for S&B and made two minor county appearances for Cumberland.

Northern’s skipper James Cole is delighted with the new arrivals. “They are both young lads keen on improving themselves and furthering their careers. They will fit nicely into our set up and everyone here is excited with the news of the signings”.
