CRICKET SOCIETIES THRIVING IN OUR AREA - TAKE A LOOK AT THEIR ACTIVITIES.

West Lancs in Southport and Merseyside at Sefton Park.

Did You Know?

There are two active Cricket Societies in the Liverpool Competition area – both with a range of high quality speakers and activities all year long.

The next 3 months at the West Lancs Cricket Society, which meets at the Royal Clifton Hotel in Southport features:

Wednesday 14 December - Chris Watts, ECB Anti-Corruption Unit

Wednesday 18 January - Ashley Giles, Head Coach, Lancashire

Wednesday 15 February - Tatenda Taibu, former Zimbabwe captain & Hightown St Mary's CC

followed by the Annual Dinner on Friday 31 March, with guest speaker Mick Newell, Director of Cricket, Notts CCC and an England selector 

All events start at 8.00 p.m., at the Royal Clifton Hotel, Southport.

Annual subscription rates are as follows:

§  £15.00 for single membership; and

§  £25.00 for joint membership.

Guests are always welcome at £5.00 per meeting, which is refunded if you join the Society. Further details are available at      www.wlcs.org.uk

 

For those in the South of the area the Merseyside Cricket Society meets on Thursdays at Sefton Park CC the day after the WLCS, and generally follows the same speaker programme, see:
