WEEK 14 RESULTS - IT'S CLOSE AT THE TOP IN PREMIER and DIVISION 1

Northern top Premier and Ainsdale share Div 1 top slot with Wigan.

It’s closer than ever in the PREMIER AND FIRST DIVISIONS after week 14.

Northern’s win at Birkenhead Park takes them to the top of the PREMIER with Ormskirk’s win over Rainford lifting them to second spot. Leigh’s draw with Bootle leaves them in third place with only six points separating the three clubs.

Ainsdale’s good run continues and their win at Newton le Willows propels them to the top of DIVISION 1 on the same points as Wigan who drew with Fleetwood Heslketh who are in third. Previous leaders Burscough are still in touch in fourth with only eleven points between the four clubs.

It’s a different story in Division 2 where Skelmersdale, (once again with result not on play-cricket) now at least 54 points clear of second placed club St Helens who won against Hightown St Mary’s
