PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME READY TO DELIVER AGAIN

45 players from 29 clubs set to benefit from quality coaching.

We are pleased to announce that all 45 nominations for the 2016 Player Development Programme have been successful and all players should, by now, have received confirmation of their allocated times within the programme.

29 clubs have taken advantage of the scheme (see below) and their youngsters will receive ten weeks of  quality coaching from Programme Leader Steve Critchley (LCB Age Group Coach and Course Tutor), and LCB coaches Mark Aspin, Sam Holt, Chris Highton (also Wigan CC), Chris Chambers (also Newton Le Willows CC) and James Cole (also Northern CC).

Starting on 16 January at St Margaret’s Cricket Centre, this is the eighth year of the programme which is primarily funded out of the fines paid by clubs in the 2015 season.

Clubs taking part: Alder, Birkenhead Park, Bootle, Colwyn Bay, Fleetwood Hesketh, Formby, Highfield, Hightown St Mary’s, Leigh, Liverpool, Lytham, New Brighton, Newton Le Willows, Northern,             Northop Hall, Old Xaverians, Ormskirk, Orrell, Parkfield Liscard, Rainhill, Rainford, Sefton Park, Skelmersdale, Southport and Birkdale, Southport Trinity, Spring View, Sutton, Wavertree, Wigan.
