Date: 19th April 2015

Formby cruise past Northern and Bootle win at New Brighton

The five centurions were Craig Woods (122) leading his side to a win over Alder; Sion Morris with the day's highest score of 147 in Colwyn Bay's 174 run victory at Fleetwood Hesketh; 139 from Greg Beaver as Wallasey saw off Skelmersdale by 170 runs and 106 from Caldy's Chris Edwards in vain as they lost out to Northop Hall; with Ormskirk's Michael Jones hitting 121 not out against Newton Le Willows.

Elsewhere Andy Barlow led from the front with 64 not out as Ainsdale beat Maghull; Parkfield Liscard beat Hightown and Leigh emerged victorious in the Wigan district clash against Highfield. Rainhill safely negotiated the tricky journey to Prestatyn, Orrell beat Wavertree, Sutton beat Old Xaverians and Rainford had a narrow win over Burscough with new signing Ben Hewitt bagging six wickets.
