All three teams lead their divisions
As well as the great excitement this week at St Annes CC there is some satisfaction and pride just along the Fylde Coast at Lytham Cricket Club where for the first time ever since joining the Med Imaging Liverpool and District Cricket Competition in 1997, the club has all three teams sitting at the top of their respective divisions.
The 1st X1 top the ECB Premier Division; the 2nd X1 lead the Competition’s 2nd X1 Division 1 and the 3rds are on top of the 3rd X1 Sunday Premier Division.
Len Hackett, Treasurer and acting Chairman said “We know there’s a long way to go yet, it is only June. But it won’t happen very often and as a club we are very proud of how far we have come in recent years particularly with the development of our Junior Section”.
