SPOTLIGHT ON 3rd X1's

Game of the day at Bebington Oval.

The game of the day in the 3rd X1 Saturday Premier Division is at the Bebington Oval where the two remaining teams with a 100% record face each other. Sefton Park 3rds, after three good wins  (including the game pictured against Wallasey 3rds – watched by 3rd X1 Co-ordinator Tony Malloy) travel across the Mersey to take in the Merseyside Cricket and Cultural Club with the winner looking forward to sitting on top of the table on Saturday night.

The above two are closely followed in the division by Maghull 3rds, New Brighton 3rds, and Northern 4ths each having recorded two wins out of three.

Although it’s early days, the 3rd X1 Sunday Premier Division promises to be wide open this year with only Lytham 3rds, in second spot, the only 100% side with two from two. This week they entertain Northop Hall 3rds whilst It’s first against third this week when Bootle 4ths host Highfield 3rds.
