Sad news
We are saddened to report the passing away earlier this week of Alan Costain. Alan, the much respected groundsman at Wallasey CC, was a former player with Parkfield Liscard CC where, in 2003, at the remarkable age of 62 he took his 1000th wicket. He will be sadly missed by all his friends and colleagues and the League offers its condolences to his wife Sandra and family.
Wallasey CC players and members will pay their respects at today’s game (Saturday) against Maghull.
