Bootle lose Dixon, add Butterworth

England Deaf seamer James Dixon has left Firwood Bootle and will be playing for the Central Lancashire League side Radcliffe CC this season.

However, as disclosed on this website earlier this month, slow left-armer Greg Butterworth, who has played junior age-group cricket for Lancashire and made one second XI appearance for the Red Rose Second XI, will be forsaking the Central Lancashire League for Wadham Road, having opted to leave Rochdale and try his luck in the Med Imaging Liverpool Competition.

Other clubs in all three divisions have still not finalised their plans for 2014 and the rumours go on.
