HIGHTOWN TO PLAY IN DIVISION 2 IN 2014

Formby to stay in Division 1
Following recent discussions between Officials from Hightown Cricket Club and the L&DCC Management Committee it has been agreed that Hightown 1st X1 will compete in Division 2 from season 2014.
This follows significant reductions in the playing strength at Hightown CC and concerns about their ability to meet their commitments in respect of all teams at their club. In the circumstances it has been agreed to assist the club in this way.
As a consequence Formby CC, having finished 11th in Division 1 in 2013 will remain in Division 1 in 2014.
