The Bridging Finance Solutions Liverpool & District Cricket Competition has a full fixture list of Representative Cricket this summer with opportunities available for individuals from age 13 years upwards.
L&DCC start with a fixture requested by the Lancashire Cricket Board as a warm up game for last year’s ECB National Champions (now playing as Lancashire U15’s) before they embark on their ECB campaign this year.
L&DCC U17 v Lancashire U15 at Bull Hey, Wigan on Wed 6 June commences at 11am.
The L&DCC XI will be selected by Chris Riley (L&DCC Head Coach), Chris Firth (S+B captain) and John Williams (Chairman) based on players’ representative history and current form. If any club wishes to nominate a specific player to the selection committee’s for their attention, please contact John Williams 07767441978 or johnawilliams1@btinternet.comby no later than Wednesday 23 May.
The remainder of the summer features:
L&DCC U13 v Bolton League, Lancashire County League, Saddleworth League in the LCB Total Cricket Trophy.
L&DCC U15 v the same Leagues as above in the LCB Michael Roche Trophy.
(Selection and trialling details for the U13 and U15 will be announced shortly).
L&DCC U21 v MCC on Monday 6 August at Rake Lane, New Brighton 11.30 start.
L&DCC “Select” XI v Lashings XI Tuesday 31 July at The Cricket Path, Formby.
