Conducted via ZOOM, this proved to be a successful event with Management Committee Officers presenting their annual reports in turn; a full presentation of the annual accounts and after a recognition that the League’s Plan A is to plan for a full season, an open discussion about the way forward should a Plan B be necessary.

Specifically, Clubs were asked to vote by completing the designated voting form on four issues:

Approval of the Minutes of the AGM January 2020
Approval of the Management Officer Reports
That there be no change to the L&DCC Constitution and Playing Regulations in 2021 from those in existence in 2020. All elected officers on the Management Committee will have their terms of office extended by one year, as appropriate.
Approval of the audited Accounts.

These have now been received and all four motions have been approved. There were no abstentions and no votes against. We thank all clubs for their continued support and confidence.

The meeting also heard that the Restart Group, set up first in March 2020 (Officers, Captains and Umpires) was being recalled for 2021 to consider all the options and scenarios should a Plan B be necessary. The feedback received in October 2020 would be a valuable aid to the group’s thinking.
