FIXTURES - 3rd XI SUNDAY SW

As announced at the Pre-Season meeting on Monday Prestatyn CC has withdrawn its team from this divission.
It has been decided that due to the lateness of the withdrawal no fixture changes will be made.
Each week one team already had no fixture and with the loss of Prestyn 3 there are now two teams each week without a league fixture.
Therefore these teams could in fact play each other in a friendly match if they so wish. The fixtures as published on this website (Admin Docs>Fixtures) for the South West Division have been revised and show the possible friendly matches in red.
Because of the way the fixtures were scheduled each team in two groups of three will find that its four friendly matches will involve home and away matches with the two other teams, eg Rainhill 3, Wallasey 3 and Formby 4; and Colwyn Bay 3, Hightown St Mary's 3 and Old Xaverians 3. But because there are only eight team in the division, Bootle 4 and Sefton Park Sun XI have four friendly matches available with each other.
These matches are not published on Play-Cricket and teams need to agree with each other if they wish to play them. The usual eligibility criteria and reporting requirements will not apply to these matches.
