3rd XI DIVISIONS 2019

Two clubs have withdrawn 3rd XI teams from Saturday and Sunday Divisions

Maghull CC has regrettably decided to remove one team from the Saturday 3rd XI with one team (3rd XI (GL)) sharing the ground of Mosside CC of the Southport & District ACL. This has several consequences, the first with 21 fixtures some teams will have 10 home matches and some 11 home matches. The second, because there were several fixtures with no return available, is seven teams only have 20 matches. The fixtures have been revised with Caldy 3 taking the original fixtures of Maghull 3 (GL) and the fixtures allocated to Maghull 3 (AL) are now those of Maghull 3 (GL).

Three fixtures will be scheduled on or before 14th July, but their dates will have to be agreed between the teams, they are Prescot & Odyssey 3 v Northop Hall 3, Sefton Park 4 v Sefton Park 5 and South Liverpool 2 v Formby 3. Maghull 3 (GL) only have 20 fixtures and will receive 5 points to their total at the end of the season.

The late decision by Maghull CC has meant that on four Saturdays there are fixture clashes with Mosside CC 1st XI and unless the Southport League revises it's fixtures these matches will have to be rearranged. These matches are as follows: July 6 v Formby 3, July 20 v Orrell RT, August 3 v Ormskirk 4 and August 17 v Northern 5

Maghull CC have also asked to enter a Sunday 3rd XI in Div 1 NE. This coincides with a decision of Newton le Willows CC to withdraw one of their Sunday 3rd XIs which simply means that fixtures against Newton le W 4 are replaced by Maghull 4 (AM).
