PLAYING BAN IMPOSED BY MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

Management Committee met with representatives of Firwood Bootle CC on 28th August.

The meeting was convened to discuss the events following the abandonement of the Digman Trophy semi-final between Bootle and Northern on 12th August. The umpires reported Peter Booth of Firwood Bootle CC for abusive behaviour with obscene language and the club has dealt with this as reported in the Bulletin dated 10th September.

Social media postings by the Bootle captain Craig Prince were abusive to the Northern captain James Cole and the Management Committee imposed a two week ban on Craig Prince suspended until the end of the 2019 season. .
