DISCIPLINE REPORTS - AGREED ACTIONS

Several disciplinary reports have been received and dealt with by the respective clubs.

Firstly, I must apologise for the delay in putting this bulletin on the website. The amount of administrative work involved with the chaotic start to the season's fixtures has taken precedence but the offences have all been dealt with in a timely manner as follows.

On May 5th, the Skelmersdale CC 1st XI player Liam Crilley was reported for dissent at being given out LBW and repeatedly questioning the umpire's decision. Skelmersdale CC banned him for one week with two further weeks suspended until the end of the 2018 season. The ban was served commencing at midnight on Friday 11th May.

On May 6th, in a 2nd XI rearranged match the Bootle CC player Tom Meskell was reported for using obscene language when disputing an umpire's decision. His club banned him for two weeks with a further two weeks suspended until the end of the 2018 season. The ban commenced at midnight on Friday 11th May.

On May 12th, the Rainford CC 1st XI player Matthew White was reported for equipment abuse. Rainford CC has banned him for one week with a further week suspended to the end of the 2018 season. The ban will commence at midnight on Friday 18th May.

The three clubs involved in disciplining their players are to be commended for their prompt actions in all cases.
