RAY DIGMAN TROPHY CARRIED OVER TO 2018

Ormskirk now clear to concentrate on Lancs and National Knockouts.

Despite strenuous efforts by everyone concerned and consideration of all possibilities it has not proved possible to play the 2017 Ray Digman Trophy to a conclusion. Ormskirk’s success in other cup competitions together with bad weather has simply left the competition short of Sunday’s.

The Ray Digman Trophy Competition will now be completed at the beginning of the 2018 season with Bootle and Ormskirk playing their semi-final followed by the winners playing Northern in the final.

We thank the Bootle and Northern clubs for their support and understanding as well as thanking Leigh CC for their co-operation in the cancelling of their fixture against Ormskirk on 16 September to enable the Ormskirk Team to travel to Essex for the following day’s National KO Final.

This now clears the way for Ormskirk to play Lowerhouse in the rearranged Lancashire KO Final on 10 September at Blackpool and Wanstead and Snaresbrook in the National KO on 17 September at Chelmsford.
