BREACH OF THE ECB FAST BOWLING DIRECTIVES

Sefton Park captain Neil Disley allowed an U19 player to exceed the ECB Fast Bowling Directive's overs limit.

tHIS breach of the Regulations relating to the use of young players was discussed by Management Committee on Tuesday 29 August.

The captain had apologised for not checking with the player involved but this is a serious breach of the regulations and he has therefore been banned for one week commencing at midnight on Friday 1st September. In accordance with Clause 6.2.4 of the Playing Regulations the team will lose all points gained and be fined £75. The match has been awarded to the team's opponents Northern (JS).
