2017 FINES FOR FAILING TO SUBMIT CAPTAIN'S REPORTS

Several 1st XI captains are still failing to submit these reports on the umpires' performance.

Despite much time being devoted to this issue at pre-season meetings the fines for failing to submit reports by 5.30 pm on the Wednesday following a Saturday match already amount to.£255.

The failing clubs are:

Birkenhead Park - 4 missing cards and have appeared before Cricket Committee on 22 May

Northop Hall - 3 missing cards and will attend Cr Co on 19 June

Alder - 2 missing cards

Ainsdale, Old Xavs, Liverpool, Rainhill, and Sefton Park - 1 missing card.

From last weekend seven clubs failed to return the reports and one club (not fined) was over 4 hours late. In future all reports not received by 5.30 pm will trigger the £15 fine.
