DON'T LOSE YOUR CLUBMARK STATUS!

DON'T LOSE YOUR CLUBMARK STATUS!

MAKE SURE YOU COMPLETE THE ECB CLUB DEVELOPMENT ANNUAL HEALTH CHECK BY THE 20th SEPTEMBER 2016

To maintain Clubmark status in 2016, clubs will need to undertake an annual health check, which for this year will be online rather than paper based as previously.  Additionally ECB will be centrally administering the Clubmark process during 2016 as they create a new club development framework incorporating Clubmark.

For clarity, all Clubs, both those in years 1 and 2 of the Clubmark cycle and those who would normally be re-accrediting this year (Year 3 - 2016) are required to complete the ECB Club Development Annual Health Check. The window to do this is: between 1st February – 20th September 2016.

The Annual Health Check is an opportunity for clubs to reflect on what they have achieved over the past year, inform of their plans for the future as well as confirming that they as a Club are still setting the standards they have committed to as a Clubmark Club.

Whilst there have been some slight changes to the Health Check content and format, based on the new Sport England Criteria confirmed in December 2015, clubs will see that the core focus remains the same.

Additionally this year the information they provide to ECB will contribute greatly to the development of the new Club Development tool.

Further details and data entry portal for the ECB Club Development Annual Health Check can be accessed via the ECB website – www.ecb.co.uk/healthcheck .

ECB very much looks forward to hearing all about Clubs and the great work they are doing to provide a positive experience for all involved by maintaining high standards of provision.

If clubs have any specific queries about completing the Health Check 2016 please contact ECB directly via Clubmark@ecb.co.uk
