CAPTAINS' REPORTS ON UMPIRES - NO MORE WARNINGS
Date: 12th July 2016
Reports are required from all 1st XI matches where play was possible last Saturday.
Reports from abandoned matches are not required even if the umpires actually travelled.
Until now Kevin Wilson, who receives these reports, has taken the trouble to remind captains by telephone or text that their reports are late. However, many captains continue to to need weekly reminders which is not acceptable.
THEREFORE, FROM NOW ON THERE WILL BE NO REMINDERS AND REPORTS RECEIVED LATER THAN THE WEDNESDAY FOLLOWING THE MATCH WILL INCUR THE £15 PENALTY.
