ECHO CUP QUARTER FINAL DRAW

The draw for the quarter-finals of the Echo KO has been made. It is as follows:

Chester Boughton Hall v Port Sunlight

Formby v Wallasey

Maghull v Firwood Bootle

Ormskirk or Rainford (being played 12 July) v Northern

All quarter-finals should be played by July 24th if possible. I realise this is a tight deadline but my sovereign principles are to ensure that neither semi-finals nor the final ends in the dark and I want to have as much flexibility as can be managed in arranging when those games will be played. On both cricketing and safety grounds, it is in the interest of all nine clubs left in the Competition not to run the risk of batting second in fading light.

Finally many thanks to all clubs for their help in ensuring that this year’s ECHO KO has run so smoothly.
