EMBEE TROPHY FINALS DAY

The original scheduled date has been put back three weeks.

Because of the need to replay a 3rd Round match between Ainsdale and Southport & Birkdale the quarter final match Ainsdale v Northern has still to be arranged. Also the quarter final between New Brighton and Merseyside C&C is only being played on 3rd August.

There is now too little time for any club to arrange a final's day even if we knew the finalists so Management Committee took the decision last Tuesday to delay the finals until the August Bank Holiday weekend. When the four finalists are known the clubs will be contacted to check whether their club is able to stage the finals and if there is a clear preference for the Sunday or the Monday.
