DISCIPLINARY REPORT - AGREED ACTION

A Disciplinary Hearing relating to a disciplinary offence committed during a 1st XI match between Newton le Willows and Sefton Park on 16 August..

The offence is related to the bans given by Sefton Park CC to two of its players and published in a previous Disciplinary Report on 21 August.

The Disciplinary Hearing was held to discuss what action if any should be taken against the player Andrew Horsefield of Newton le Willows CC, his club having contested the recommendations of the Disciplinary Committee.

The Disciplinary Panel determined that the player should serve a two week ban for dissent. Newton le Willows CC has accepted this punishment and the player will be banned from midnight Friday 5 September for one week having previously served a one week ban imposed by his club for the same offence. A further two weeks suspended until the end of the 2015 season was also accepted by the club.
