STATEMENT IN RESPECT OF MALCOLM BARBER

Vice President position withdrawn

Following the completion of Court proceedings in respect of Malcolm Barber, and noting the outcome, the Management Committee has taken the following action under Section 14 of the Constitution.

Mr Barber’s position as Vice President of the Med Imaging Liverpool and District Cricket Competition has been withdrawn as an interim measure with immediate effect.

The following proposal will be put to the pre-season SGM to be held on 8 April 2014.

‘That Malcolm Barber is removed as a Vice President of the Med Imaging Liverpool and District Cricket Competition in that he is no longer an appropriate person to hold that position by bringing the name of the Competition into disrepute.’

The proposal is brought under the terms of the MIL&DCC Constitution sections 4.3 and 7.6.3.
